FOLLOW JESUS AND HELP OTHERS DO THE SAME

Our mission extends beyond Sunday mornings as we share the gospel through outreach efforts both locally and globally.

Through global missions, we embrace the privilege and responsibility of carrying out the Great Commission.

Shine is an evangelistic ministry dedicated to taking the gospel to the ends of the earth. Founded in 2005 by Dr. Sammy Wanyonyi, SHINE is a global evangelism and leadership mission focused on proclaiming Jesus Christ to lost people around the world. It seeks to mobilize and resource the local church in fulfilling the Great Commission and to equip current and future leaders in their spiritual journey and service to God and society.

SHINE

The Timothy Initiative believes the best way to fulfill the Great Commission is by making disciples who make disciples and planting churches that plant churches.  Through TTI’s training, local leaders equip Christians with the necessary tools, resources, and strategies to reach their nations for Christ.

Dave worked in the public school system as a teacher for 11 years, where he coached a variety of sports, including 4 years as a varsity boys basketball head coach, where he was involved with FCA and has seen the first-hand impact in the lives of coaches and athletes. The North Metro is a special area to Dave spending much of his life here; from growing up here, to teaching/coaching in the communities over the last 10 years, attending Renovation, and living in the North Metro. Dave is excited to give back to an area that has made him who he is today.  God is using his lifelong love of sports and Jesus, his strengths of leading and building relationships, and his experiences teaching, coaching, and managing to culminate into this position.  FCA’s vision is to bring all athletes and coaches into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church.  Dave is currently serving as the Area Director for the North Metro, and currently resides in Circle Pines.

Mitch is on staff with Young Life in the Northern Twin Cities serving high school and middle school students in the Mounds View, Roseville, and Irondale communities. Young Life's mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith. Young Life does this by going where kids are and building relationships with them, earning the right to share the Good News of Jesus Christ, and inviting them to respond to the Good News and walking with them regardless of their response!
