OUTREACH
FOLLOW JESUS AND HELP OTHERS DO THE SAME
Our mission extends beyond Sunday mornings as we share the gospel through outreach efforts both locally and globally.
Through our local outreach efforts, we have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus right here in Blaine.
Prison Ministries
Prison Fellowship
Volunteers have the opportunity to go into Lino Lakes Correctional Facility and partner with the Prison Fellowship Academy to facilitate small group Bible studies and engage in meaningful conversations with inmates.
Mission 29:11
This is a one-year mentorship commitment, where each volunteer mentors an inmate for 6 months before their release and continues that mentorship for 6 months post-release, focusing on spiritual development, emotional support, and practical guidance.
Angel Tree
This ministry supports the children of incarcerated parents by providing Christmas gifts and sharing the love of Jesus with their families. This ministry’s volunteer efforts are mainly around Christmas time but if you have questions or want to get involved in some way email angeltree@renovationchurch.org for more information.
Valued Voices
Valued Voices provides volunteers an opportunity to build relationships with our senior neighbors at Edgewood Senior Living in Blaine. Volunteers will have the ability to connect with the residents as valued friends and to serve them as treasured members of our community – encouraging those who are fellow believers and sharing the Good News of Jesus with those who do not know Him.
Edgewood has organized activities for the residents and volunteers from 9-11am and 1-4pm each day of the week. Volunteers are welcome any time throughout the day to help with activities, have 1-on-1 conversations, or even just play board games or cards with residents. While we ask that Valued Voices volunteers serve at least once a month, volunteers are welcome to visit as often as their schedule allows. Serving on a regular basis will help volunteers build relationships with Edgewood residents and staff.
Together For Good
Together for Good offers tangible opportunities to do good as we come alongside vulnerable children and isolated parents. Volunteers offer practical help by hosting children during times of parental crisis and surrounding families with ongoing relational support through their network of care.
Those who serve with Together For Good receive an email as needs arise in the community, and have the opportunity to choose to respond with help when they are able to do so.
Mobile Hope
Mobile Hope is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to serving mobile home communities, recently expanding to its third site in the Centennial Square community in Blaine. Renovation Church is excited to be part of how God is at work in these neighborhoods, building relationships and supporting the families that live there.
Mobile Hope's mission is to foster relationships, hope, and a culture of achievement in mobile home communities through education, healthy activities, resource connections, and faith development. One of their key initiatives is the Homework Help program, where volunteers assist students in grades K-12 with homework and educational activities, all while fostering meaningful connections with their families. The program runs Monday-Wednesday from 3:15-5:15pm at the mobile park. Volunteers can choose the day(s) that work best in their schedule.
Through global missions, we embrace the privilege and responsibility of carrying out the Great Commission.

Dave worked in the public school system as a teacher for 11 years, where he coached a variety of sports, including 4 years as a varsity boys basketball head coach, where he was involved with FCA and has seen the first-hand impact in the lives of coaches and athletes. The North Metro is a special area to Dave spending much of his life here; from growing up here, to teaching/coaching in the communities over the last 10 years, attending Renovation, and living in the North Metro. Dave is excited to give back to an area that has made him who he is today. God is using his lifelong love of sports and Jesus, his strengths of leading and building relationships, and his experiences teaching, coaching, and managing to culminate into this position. FCA’s vision is to bring all athletes and coaches into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. Dave is currently serving as the Area Director for the North Metro, and currently resides in Circle Pines.

We believe that our call, first and foremost, is not to expand the kingdom of Renovation Church, but the Kingdom of God. We believe we can best do this by starting new autonomous churches (aka church plants).

CHURCHES OUR CHURCH PLANTS HAVE PLANTED (GRANDKID CHURCHES)
We believe that church planting is an exponential endeavor. As we plant churches, our church plants will plant churches, and their church plants will plant churches. Thousands and thousands more people will be reached for Christ this way! Here is a list of churches that our own church plants have started so far:
